The Asia House Pan-Asia Film Festival returns in 2014, offering a selection of the finest contemporary Asian cinema. Taking place in cinemas around London and in key UK cities from 26 February to 9 March, the festival screens the most dynamic and exciting new films from across continental Asia, from Iran to Japan, for audiences in the UK. Now in its sixth year, the festival hosts 12 films representing 11 different countries, alongside discussions, director Q&As and special events. The festival returns to Ciné Lumière with two exciting titles: Jin-ho Hur’s Dangerous Liaisons, a Chinese adaptation of Pierre Choderlos de Laclos’ 18th-century French novel Les Liaisons dangereuses, and an exciting debut from Iranian filmmaker Ali Ahmadzadeh, who takes us to the heart of the anxieties of Iran’s upper class youth in a road movie with a difference, Kami’s Party.
The event has now finished.
