Event Sponsorship
In addition to its regular series of cinema screenings and conferences, the Institut français programmes a variety of festivals and series. These include our annual festivals Mosaïques (world cinema & literature), Fête de la musique (Exhibition Road Music Day – free live music) and the Youth Festival (children's literature & film), and our regular series of Sunday afternoon screenings Sunday French Classics. Each year there are additional one-off festivals, ciné concerts, and retrospectives devoted to particular actors or directors.
Depending on the type of event and the extent of your support, the Institut will offer the following, with other benefits to be discussed on a case by case basis:
Your logo on all associated literature Le Programme (circulation 17,000); a special leaflet produced to promote the event and displayed in more than 100 outlets across London through London Calling (circulation between 6,000 and 12,000); invitations and posters; press releases sent to all major UK media; the Institut français website, and, where appropriate, an event-specific microsite the Institut’s weekly e-newsletter, and, where appropraite, an event-specific e-flyer.
Free advertising space at the Institut français
We would be happy to display your leaflets in the foyer of the Institut, and can arrange for them to be inserted in the mail-out of Le Programme. We can also display banners, and project trailers ahead of screenings at Ciné lumière. Invitations to opening events
Representatives from your company, or your valued clients, will receive invitations to all special evenings tied in with the festival/series. Free cinema tickets
We will be happy to offer you free tickets to your staff for the entire length of the festival/series.
