The work of British sculptor Antony Gormley takes the human body as its subject, with his own body often used as the basis for casts. Winner of the Turner Prize in 1994, he is perhaps most celebrated for his sculpture The Angel of the North in Gateshead and the installation Field for the British Isles (1995) in the Arts Council Collection. Following the huge success of his recent exhibition at the Hayward Gallery, he talks to former Time Out Art Editor Sarah Kent.
