Learning French in the UK

The learning of French as a foreign language is available throughout the world thanks to a developed network of specialised centres dedicated to the teaching of French. Some of these are managed directly by the French Ministry of Foreign Affairs (150 Instituts français in over 50 countries) and others come under its statutory control (Alliances françaises in 135 countries).
