The Institut national d'histoire de l'art (INHA) is a centre for research into the history of art in France. It brings together the largest art and archeology libraries in Paris (in particularly the Bibliothèque Jacques Doucet) as well as researchers from the departements of history of art, visual and performing arts of various Paris universities. It provides training, organises conferences, and regularly organises symposia and publishes theses of its research. INHA also develops research programmes ranging from ancient art to XXI century art.
Olivier BONFAIT, Editor-in-chief of the INHA magazine, Perspective, will present 2 issues devoted to gender studies and the current state of French research on the history of British art . Antoinette LE NORMAND-ROMAIN, Director of the INHA and Jean-Michel MASSING, MA Docteur ès lettres FSA Professor in the History of Art, Fellow of King's College will also be part of the panel. They will be introduced by Denis RIBOUILLAULT from the Courtauld Institut.
