This panel discussion celebrates the first biennale of photography from the Arab World, organised in Paris by the Institut du monde arabe and the Maison européenne de la photographie. Bringing to light the diverse and vibrant photographic outputs of photographers from the Middle East and North Africa, curators and experts Karin Adrian von Roques, Vali Mahlouji and biennale curator Gabriel Bauret will explore the issues of representing, (re)framing and understanding Arab photography in the West today.
As part of the Nour festival, and in partnership with Institut d’Etudes Supérieures des Arts.
