How the French (really) Think: Sudhir Hazareesingh

From Descartes to Astérix, taking in the Paris Commune and the Dreyfus affair on the way, Sudhir Hazareesingh’s new book How the French Think, published in June by Penguin Random House sets out to explore the enduring success of French thinkers, as well as their reception abroad and more recent ups, downs, and hesitations. Oxford historian Sudhir Hazareesingh will be joined for a discussion of these questions by Nicolas Roussellier, Professor of Political History at Sciences Po Paris and author of La force de gouverner published by Gallimard.
