angeleettony1Angel, a beautiful young woman with a past, arrives in a small fishing harbour in Normandy. She meets Tony, a professional fisherman, who finds himself attracted to her although he dislikes her blunt ways. Tony hires her as a fishmonger, lodges her and teaches her the tricks of the trade. The relationships between Myriam, Tony's mother, and Angel are far from easy but the young woman gradually adapts to her new environment and little by little, Tony and Angel manage to tame each other.

Although they love each other passionately, Sullivan wants to go travel in South America for a year - a plan that fills Camille with despair. At the end of the summer, Sullivan leaves and a few months later he stops writing to Camille. In the spring, Camille makes a suicide attempt. Fast forward four years and Camille is fully devoted to her architectural studies. She meets a well-known architect, Lorenz, who makes her once again feel confident in herself. It is then that Sullivan once more crosses her path. Camille, her heart now divided between the two loves of her life must decide what to do next. The blooming of first love, subsequent heartbreak and renewal are portrayed with a simple directness of stye which nevertheless allow the complexity of emotions to be given full range.

Set in a little cinema, two children and a projectionist meet every night to act out various tales set in forests and cities of gold and populated with sorcerers, fairies and powerful kings. An instant classic and a visual delight for any child and parent.
