dancEUnion //// 19-21 September 208 //// Southbank Centre
Join with a unique celebration of European dance as 23 countries come together to present a weekend of performances and film screenings. Launched by renowned choreographer and patron Russell Maliphant, dancEUnion celebrates not only the French Presidency of the European Union in 2008, but also the incredible diversity of choreography and dance developing in these countries. This event is organised by European Union National Institutes for Culture (EUNIC) London in partnership with Southbank Centre, the participation of all EU countries and the support of the European Commission Representation in the UL. It also marks European Year of Intercultural Dialogue 2008 and is one of a series through which EUNIC aims to strengthen cooperation between the national cultural institutes of EU countries.
