Back to School Singalong

Share a musical experience in the company of Laurent Caquot and his barrel organ. Come and discover, or indeed rediscover, the popular melodies of the past and present... even the shyest participants are guaranteed to be won over! For lovers of French song, join us at the entrance to the children's library.

Alphanimal, A Bilingual Alphabet

Pupils from Wix Primary School worked for several months with their teacher and the author-illustrator Laurence Guiraud on a bilingual alphabet, now published as an album entitled Alphanimal.
An exhibition including the original paintings and explaining the conception of the book will be on display at the children's library before moving to Edinburgh. A child-friendly opening will be organized to celebrate its inauguration.

Guided visits of the library (Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday mornings from 10am to 12am) for school groups can be arranged upon request.
