A unique series of bilingual theatre workshops for adults and children at la Médiathèque. Each week a new story is adapted to the stage through i

mprovisation work and imaginative games and exercises. Theatre from text to performance teaches participants to move, express themselves, encouraging self-confidence and mutual discovery.

Reading Group

In June, the reading group will be discussing the work of early 20th Century French novelist Colette.

Story-telling for Children

From classic tales to modern favourites, each of our story-telling sessions welcomes youngsters to magical worlds and imaginary friends...

All welcome.

Please note that the 2008/09 season has come to an end. The next sessions will start after the summer.

• The Children's library now closes at 5pm instead of 6pm during the week. The opening times on Saturday remain unchanged. The new opening times are as follows:

Tue-Fri 2pm-5pm and Sat 12noon-6pm

• Members of the Children's library are now allowed to borrow 2 DVDs rather than one. So come and enjoy our latest arrivals, two by two! We also have introduced the rental of video games. Members are allowed to borrow one game for a period of two weeks.
