Join us for the launch of the latest issue of The Myth of Europa, the print journal of European Alternatives presenting a transnational approach to politics and culture in the context of globalisation. The evening will involve a round table discussion on the role of journals and of intellectuals in contemporary Europe including the participation of Denis Guénoun, playwright, philosopher and poet, and Ghislaine Glasson Deschaumes, editor of the journal Transeuropéennes.

Followed by a performance of contemporary experimental music by Vicky Stieri.

She will perform her own composition called Descent for solo amplified cello, which experiments with tone, form and technical range. Stieri is a graduate of Goldsmiths College of Music in London, as well as a composer and cellist.
