Braquo follows a squad of Paris cops who exist in the blurred boundaries at the very edge of the law, often using violence and intimidation to get the job done. Filmmaker Olivier Marchal is renowned for his César nominated film 36 Quai des Orfèvres starring Daniel Auteuil and Gérard Depardieu. Jean-Hugues Anglade is probably better known to British audiences for his role as Zorg, the passionate lover of Betty (Beatrice Dalle) in cult film Betty Blue.
