The British TV industry has become more interested in broadcasting French TV shows as a new trend reveals. Spiral is being aired on BBC FOUR whilst Braquo has a slot on FX. Death in Paradise, broadcast on BBC ONE, is a co-production between France and the UK and Vous, les femmes will be screened by the BBC. Borgia, financed by CANAL+, is an immense success in France and in Europe and it will be shown on Netflix UK in 2012.

The festival will also offer several professional events including drinks and networking sessions.

Film France, the French Film Commission assisting foreign production companies, will organise a session with British producers about how to shoot TV shows in France and the related fiscal advantages and 'En route to France', an awards ceremony attended by talents, on Friday January 20 at 6.30 pm.

Major British and French film and TV schools such as the LFS, NFTS and CEEA will partner with the festival to organise a pitch session for students in the presence of a jury made up of TV professionals.
