ITA/FRA/SWI | 2016 | dir. Michele Placido, with Ambra Angiolini, Cristiana Capotondi, Fiorella Mannoia
The owners of an Italian textile factory sell the majority of the property to a multinational company. There is a small clause in the agreement that the new ownership wants the Factory Council to sign. Eleven women will decide for themselves, and as representatives of their colleagues, whether to accept the proposal or not. As the debate turns on, the stories of the women, made of hopes and memories, emerge before the final vote.
Preceded by an introduction and followed by a Q&A with actress Cristiana Capotondi and journalist Alan Jones.
