Fête du Cinéma d’Animation

CineFamilies, Festivals & Series

The Institut français teams up with the Association Française du Cinéma d’Animation to celebrate the 19th Fête du Cinéma d’Animation at Ciné Lumière.

Adult and younger enthusiasts of the animation art in all its forms can enter the magnificent world of Jean-François Laguionie The Prince’s Voyage or experience the beauty of Shooom’s Odyssey, winner of Best TV Production at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival on the big screen and through an exhibition about the making-of.

The party wouldn’t be complete without a medley of short animations to make sure even the youngest can take part in what they know best, Games & Small Mischief.

To top it all off, from 14 to 31 Oct, each screening at Ciné Lumière will be preceded by a short animation film celebrating famous French poets such as Jacques Prévert, Robert Desnos, Paul Eluard to name a few.

You can also discover 2 full features and 11 shorts available for free streaming on the Institut français’s dedicated platform.

Let’s get the party started!
