This well observed, insightful drama offers a unique glimpse, from an insider’s perspective, into the lives and dilemmas facing today’s Israeli Arabs, a community struggling to maintain its identity, torn between modernity and tradition. Against the backdrop of Israel-Lebanon war, a family living in Israeli-Arab village in Northern Galilee gathers to celebrate a family wedding. The youngest daughter’s scandalous revelation that she is in love with an Englishman triggers an internal war that threatens to tear the family apart.
