A missed trip to Argentina, awkward job interviews, her grandfather’s death, and the keys to the old blue Dyane 6: the beginnings of the journey that will change Nora’s life around. Having seldom left her village, she will travel along the Basque coast to reunite her grandfather’s ashes with her grandmother’s. After welcoming Lara Izaguirre’s first feature film in 2016, we are proud to screen her gripping second feature film made by a women-led creative team in this year’s Spanish Film Festival. In the words of the Spanish proverb, “in bad weather, good face” (“al mal tiempo, buena cara”) – such is the optimistic reflection on life and courage to taking risks here depicted.
