The Pearl Button is a story about water, cosmos, and us. It begins with the mysterious discovery of two buttons on the bottom of the Pacific Ocean, close to Chile and its unreal landscapes of volcanos, mountains and glaciers. Through their history arise the voices of the Patagonian Indigenous people, the first English sailors and political prisoners. Some say that water has memory, this film gives it a voice.
