Robust

When his right-hand man and only friend must go away for a few weeks, ageing and cantankerous film star Georges (Gérard Depardieu) is given a substitute, Aïssa (Déborah Lukumuena), a young female security officer. Against all odd, the disillusioned actor and the security guard and wrestling champion forge a special relationship. Nominated for the Golden Camera at the Cannes Film Festival 2021, Robust is Constance Meyer’s first full-length feature film.
