Alix Delaporte’s impressive debut feature tells a beguiling and slow-moving story of a seemingly mismatched couple set in a remote Normandy fishing village. A heartwarming fairytale about the improbable encounter between two flawed individuals, Angèle (Clotilde Hesme), who has just moved into town, and disillusioned fisherman Tony (Grégory Gadebois). Both Clotilde Hesme and Grégory Gadebois were awarded the most promising actor and actress César award for their role in the film.
