Souleiman, tired of not getting paid for his work on the gleaming towers of Dakar, sets out across the Atlantic with his friends, leaving Ada to face impending marriage to another man.

The screening on 14 December will be preceded by a pre-recorded interview with Mati Diop and followed by a panel co-organized by Reclaim the Frame and The Bechdel Test Fest. Speakers include Ama Josephine Budge (Writer, Artist, Curator and Activist whose work navigates intimate explorations of race, art, ecology and feminism).
