Set in the mean streets of L.A., Academy Award nominee Mike Figgis’ second feature film, after the critically acclaimed Stormy Monday, is a thriller with a lot of punch. While investigating on a misconduct case, Raymond Avilla (Andy Garcia), a detective from the Internal Affairs Division of the L.A. County Police becomes convinced that Dennis Peck (Richard Gere), a respected street cop, is involved in a complicated web of criminal activities.
