Women Shaping the World, Tribute to Delphine Seyrig – Actress, Director and Activist
In Delphine Seyrig’s last film, set on the Trans-Siberian railway, seven Western women are kidnapped by a mysterious Mongolian princess and her companions and are forced to join their caravan on a journey through inner Mongolia into the unknown.
The screening on 26 Jan will be followed by a discussion between filmmaker Ulrike Ottinger and Professor Erica Carter (King’s College London)
Ulrike Ottinger will also be in conversation following a screening of her film The Image of Dorian Gray in the Yellow Press on Sat 25 Jan at London Goethe-Institut at 5pm
