L’Amour en fuite

This final instalment in Truffaut’s Antoine Doinel cycle revolves around a series of meetings in which Antoine revisits past affairs. Accordingly, Truffaut incorporates a series of extracts from his earlier films, resulting in a retrospective treatment of his development as a filmmaker, and of Antoine’s initiation into adulthood to the music of Georges Delerue.
