An intimate account of an intense if inescapably flawed love affair between two youngsters from different social backgrounds. Alice is a small-town girl trying to make it in Paris. She soon meets the handsome Antoine (Bastien Bouillon), as she tries to make it into the fashion world with the help of Antoine’s mother Agnes (Aurelia Petit). With this encounter, she abandons her friends and her roots… A nuanced character study of a demure working-class girl thrust into an upscale milieu that offered Ana Girardot (The Returned, Someone, Somewhere) her first lead role.
