Tina and Biel are two children living in rural Menorca around the end of World War I with their uncle. One day they discover a treasure and with that they plan to buy their boat tickets and join their mother, who has gone to work to an African country. In a naturalistic way, Recha captures like no one the innocence of children, their disappointment and their faith. Hélène Louvart’s cinematography is breathtaking.
