The Juilliard Experiment is about French artist Fabienne Verdier’s residency at the Juilliard School of Music in New York, during which she explored the relationship between painting and music. The film documents Verdier’s collaboration with composers, musicians and singers in an open-ended experiment that ranged from Mozart to jazz, from Handel to Elliott Carter.
Followed by a Q&A with artist Fabienne Verdier, director Mark Kidel. Chaired by Mick Finch (Reader in Visual Arts at Central Saint Martins)
