“Zany Sardinian set slapstick comedy, a sort of Italian Johnny English as an inept spy tries to infiltrate a traditional Community” – Adrian Wootton, curator of Cinema Made in Italy, CEO of Film London and the British Film Commission
Alarmed to learn that an unidentified Sardinian has legal title to the moon, the authorities dispatch an undercover agent to investigate. Although the agent really was born in Sardinia, he has since lost all characteristics of a Sardinian, and must get private lessons to learn how to blend in with the locals. This whimsical, visually sophisticated comedy from Paolo Zucca (L’arbitro) serves up a joyous blend of droll slapstick, deft physical comedy, and absurdism.
