After a life wasted on slot machines, singing for ungrateful audiences and drinking from early morning, fifty something Alessandro finds himself broke and broken when his mother refuses to lend him once again some money to impress two young girls he’s trying to hit on. He loses it. And yet, in the hospital ward he’s been taken in for a mental breakdown, he meets Francesca. Having both reached a crossroads in their lives, they decide to travel together to find the way to a second chance.
