A Contemporary Approach to Traditional French Savoir-Faire

During the London Craft Week, the Institut français welcomes three of the finest French masters of craftsmanship, Fanny Boucher, Lison de Caunes and Hervé Obligi. These ambassadors of French artistry, give an exceptional insight into their unique savoir-faire such as héliogravure, a rare photo engraving process, straw marquetry or hard stone marquetry. Together with their apprentices Marie Levoyet and Camille Berthaux, they share their experience about the transmission of their skills to a new generation in a special showcase complementing the exhibition of their works.
