The Institut français du Royaume-Uni presents FranceDance UK – a four-month festival bringing the best in French contemporary dance to venues across the country.

Featuring 50 performances, including several UK premieres, at 16 festivals and theatres in 9 major UK cities, the festival focuses on creation and innovation with a particular highlight on diversity and the work of women choreographers under the honorary patronage of international dancer, choreographer and future Director of Birmingham Royal Ballet, Carlos Acosta CBE.

Launching at the Institut français in London on 10 July, the festival will then kick off at the Edinburgh International Festival on 8 August and keep the ball rolling until 12 November 2019.
