On the occasion of la Fête de la Musique (21 June), the grand national winners of this year’s UK-wide French Pop Video Competition will be announced as part of a special live concert with up-and-coming French talent Clémentine March.
The London-based chanteuse, composer and filmmaker was a laureate of the Diaphonique fund for contemporary music with Musicity at Home. She has developed a very personal approach to pop songs, playing with languages and textures, with a Brazilian savoir-faire and a post-punk edge. Her 2020 debut album Le Continent is the sum of her many musical influences, ranging from Samba and Latin music to Nirvana, Young Marble Giants and beyond.
