As a laureate of the Fondation Royaumont, young French mezzo-soprano Eléonore Pancrazi has just been nominated Best Lyrical Artist at the Victoires de la Musique 2019. With pianist Edwige Herchenroder, they will perform a programme focused on heroines in operas from Mozart, Rossini, Bizet and Bernstein. Lieds by Clara Schumann, Alma Mahler, Cécile Chaminade, Lili Boulanger, Liza Lehmann and Rebecca Clarke will also give voice to French women composers.
