Selected to represent France and Britain respectively in next year’s Venice Biennale, the artists Zineb Sedira and Sonia Boyce, in conversation with curator Gilane Tawadros, will talk about their long-standing friendship and the idea of solidarity, the role of the artist and their approach to creating artwork that connects different generations, histories and geographies. They will reflect on their respective art strategies, the aftermath of the Black Lives Matter movement, and what it means to represent a nation at the Venice Biennale.
Fri 15 Oct 10.15am
This conversation is part of Art Matters, our series of talks on arts, in collaboration with the British council
