One of the 20th century’s most influential couturiers, Christian Dior is the subject of the exhibition Christian Dior, Designer of Dreams at the V&A, exploring the enduring influence of the fashion house from 1947 to the present day, and Dior’s relationship with Britain. V&A Fashion and textiles curator Oriole Cullen, French set designer Nathalie Crinière and Hélène Starkman, head of Cultural Projects for Christian Dior, will present their research and Dior’s historical approach to fashion for the making of the exhibition. This talk will be chaired by Justine Picardie editor-in-chief at Harper’s Bazaar UK.
