Two of France and the UK’s favourite writers meet for an exceptional Franco-British conversation. Maylis de Kerangal‘s books Birth of a Bridge and Mend the Living have been published in the UK this year by MacLehose Press; the first won the Prix Médicis in 2010 and the second is longlisted for the Man Booker International Prize. Jonathan Coe‘s latest and eleventh book Number 11 published in November, is a brilliant satire of contemporary Britain. Together they will discuss the twists and turns of writing ultra-contemporary fiction.
