We are delighted to welcome three of the finest French craftsmen for a lively discussion on their process and techniques as well as innovation and tradition.
Known for working with exotic materials to make bespoke bags, Serge Amoruso formerly worked in Hermès’s trunk department, and now manages his own brand. Michel Hertault provides a restoration service for vintage umbrellas and creates contemporary couture pieces. Reviving the tradition of dressing for the occasion, Samuel Gassmann, has created his collection of cufflinks.
Event chaired by Simon Crompton, founder of permanentstyle.com, organised as part of the London Craft Week, in collaboration with the Institut National des Métiers d’Art.
