With Charlotte Rampling and Lambert Wilson
The Institut français is delighted to welcome Charlotte Rampling and Lambert Wilson for a gala evening of Dead Poets Live, the sell-out show that brings together great poets and great actors on stage.
Charlotte Rampling and Lambert Wilson will revive Hope Mirrlees’s 1919 modernist poem entitled Paris, a 600-line journey through the city and a selection of T.S. Eliot’s poems influenced by Paris and French literature.
This event marks the inauguration of the Institut français’s new salons, renovated thanks to the support of the Friends of the French Institute trust and generous donors, as part of the Projet Lumière(s) fundraising campaign. Our gratitude goes to them as well as to Lambert Wilson, patron of the Projet Lumière(s). Benefits of the evening will contribute to the completion of the final step of the project, the creation of a second cinema (Ciné Lumière II).
