  • Objectives
    Students will learn not only language aspects such as vocabulary and structure but also to consider multiple perspectives and understand the complexity of human nature. We will examine also the historical social and cultural context.
  • Learning approach
    Students will play an active role in class. They will interact with other students and the teacher, participate in doing short presentations in turn.

    Christine Thoméré has a M.Phil in French Literature from La Sorbonne Paris IV as well as a master’s degree in French Grammar and Stylistics. She also has a knowledge in Art and Philosophy as a minor
  • Suggestions
    To explore more about French culture, our students often round up their learning journey with another of the Culture and Society course  or a general French course. If you seek official recognition, an exam is ideal!
