Music In France

Tue 18 Oct | Ages 15-18 | £6/pupil or £3 film only & free for teachers
10:30am: choose between the 2 following activities:

  • Library Activity (15-16 years old) :
    During this activity pupils will discover the most renowned artists of the French and francophone musical scene.
  • Language Activity (A level) :
    Discover what banlieues and multiculturalism in France are through engaging activities.

10:30am: choose between the 2 following activities:

  • Library Activity (7-8 years old) :
    Do you know the capital of France and its landmarks? Discover Paris through engaging storytelling and activities in French.
  • Language Activity (9-11 years old) :
    Work on your French while travelling in the beautiful capital of France during language activities around the film A Cat in Paris.

  • Library Activity (5-7 years old) :
    Explore our resources and listen to enchanting stories in French with our librarian at the Quentin Blake Library.
  • Language Activity (8-11 years old) :
    French is fun and there’s no better way to learn than practicing with the characters of the beautiful animation The Prince’s Quest.

    Are you familiar with the famous French comic book collections? Our librarians will take you on a fun hunt through the Library collections to get familiar with all the famous characters such as Tintin, Astérix, Boule & Bill…
  • Language Activity (14-16 years old) :
    Work around the trailer of The Extraordinary Adventures of Adèle Blanc Sec and discover the world of the comic book and the film through exciting activities!
