La Femme et le pantin

Eva is the daughter of Stanislas Marchand, once a famous Germanophile writer and French collaborator who took refuge in Spain. During the traditional Seville feria where she dances the fandango, the young lady is noticed by Matteo Diaz, a rich and proud bull dealer whom no woman can resist. The Don Juan makes advances to Eva who rejects him. Stung in his pride, he will do everything in his power to win the heart of the beautiful woman.
