The laureates of the 2025 French Pop Video Competition were announced on 20 June as part of a special Award Ceremony followed by a concert of French artist, George Ka.

The French Pop Video Competition is a national competition organised by Francophonie UK for all KS1 to KS5 students of French in the UK

Since 2019, the competition has revealed many talented young singers and encouraged students to engage with French in a creative way. From the writing of a song to its singing (or rapping!) and video shooting, former participants have expressed how empowered the contest has made them feel.

Grand national winners were announced on 20 June 2025 during an official ceremony followed by a pop concert at the French Institute in London.

Winners are:

National Winner – Category 7-11: “Les animaux de notre école“, Norbridge Academy

 
National Winner – Category 12-15: “Les souvenirs“, Oxford High School

 
National Winner – Category 16-18: “Encore“, Cardiff Sixth Form College

 

The Jury decided to give a special mention to there coups de cœur:

  • “Les Héros de France”, Unicorn School
  • “Temps ensemble”, Saint-Cecilia’s Church of England School
  • “Electromagnétique”, St Albans School
