Immerse your pupils in French culture for a full day with linguistic or cultural activity in the morning and a school screening in the afternoon.

Programme

10.30 – Activity

Choose between the 2 following activities:

  • Language Activity (Y7-8): Get introduced to the famous French comic book Les Enfants de la Resistance that inspired the film. Meet the characters and use your French during lively activities.

  • Library Activity (Y6): Discover the amazing books that were adapted for the big screen at the Quentin Blake Library among which French comic book Les Enfants de la Resistance. A great way to familiarise the pupils with easy French literature!

 

12.00 – Lunch break

Les Enfants de la Resistance

Adapted from the 2 first volumes of the famous graphic novel by Benoît Ers & Vincent Dugomier director Barratier (The Chorus) brings another war film putting children in front of the camera. During the German occupation in World War II, François, Eusèbe, and Lisa-three brave children-embark on a secret adventure: resisting the Nazis in the very heart of France.
