In her debut feature, Gala Gracia follows Sara, a young jazz pianist living in New York, who returns to her hometown in the Spanish Pyrenees after the sudden death of her father. As she navigates her grief, Sara discovers she has inherited the family sheep farm alongside her sister, Elena, anchoring her once again to a place that feels both deeply familiar and quietly suffocating. Deeply personal and profoundly moving, Gracia’s film explores the tension between personal ambition and family duty. Faced with the possibility of giving up her musical career to preserve her father’s legacy, Sara must decide whether honouring the past is worth sacrificing her own future.
