Dandelion’s Odyssey

After the destruction of the planet Earth, four dandelion achenes (the lovely white fluffy seed kids like to blow on) have managed to crash-land on an unidentified planet. Together they bravely go through uncharted places to find a new home where their species will be able to blossom. Who else than Momoko Seto, documentarian for the French National Centre for Scientific Research (CNRS), could give life to tiny seeds and manage to give them physical characteristics and identities? This is a poetic environmental odyssey which won the Paul Grimault Award at the Annecy International Animated Film Festival along with the FIPRESCI Prize in Cannes 2025.
