In this beautiful and meditative film by Anthony Chen (Ilo Ilo), Jacqueline (Cynthia Erivo), a young refugee, lands alone and penniless on a Greek island, where she tries first to survive while coping with her past. As she starts to get her strength back, she begins a meandering friendship with Callie, a curious tour-guide (Alia Shawkat), and together they find the resilience to forge ahead.
