Emergency Exit

An actress reflecting on her career, a lost anthropologist and two legendary divas travel with other strangers through unreal landscapes in a mysterious vehicle from which they cannot easily get off. Along the way, they fable about their identity while Desire, Eros, incarnates to seduce them all. A liminal journey between life and death, dream and magical realism. Partly inspired by Miñarro’s youth years in Barcelona’s counterculture in the 70s, where he regularly frequented Gabriel García Márquez, Mario Vargas Llosa and Roberto Bolaño among others, Emergency Exit is a road movie reflecting on life’s ultimate trip.
