Directed by two-time BAFTA-nominee Matteo Garrone (Gomorrah, Tale of Tales), Io Capitano received the Silver Lion and Best Young Actor Awards at Venice Film Festival and has been nominated for the 2023 Academy Awards in the Best International Film category.
