Love + War

Love+War profiles Pulitzer Prize–winning photojournalist Lynsey Addario, who has spent over two decades documenting conflicts in Afghanistan, Iraq, Sierra Leone, Libya, and most recently Ukraine. Known for her fearless commitment to bearing witness, Addario has risked her life to keep the world’s attention on the human cost of war. The film follows her from the front lines back to her home in London, where she juggles the demands of motherhood and marriage with the dangers of her profession. At its heart, Love+War, by Academy Award–winning directors Elizabeth Chai Vasarhelyi and Jimmy Chin (Free Solo, The Rescue), asks whether it is possible to chronicle humanity’s darkest moments without losing sight of one’s own.
